The bird wire post and wire system is an ideal way of preventing Feral Pigeons (Columba livia) roosting on the ledges of buildings. The system consists of nylon-coated, spring-tensioned stainless steel wire supported by stainless steel posts. 11cm and 15cm posts are available and are fixed into the stonework using dome-headed nylon anchor rivets. Stainless steel split pins can be used to fix the wire to the window reveals. The system is also effective against gulls, but does not work very well against starlings. The posts, springs, wire and split pins are made of corrosion resistant 316 grade stainless steel. A gutter clip is also available.
